The John Kerry face was painted on a pumpkin--the artist is Philander Scroggs from Seattle. He is an active Kerry supporter who has been attending meetups since the primaries and very active in visibility at events this summer. Some volunteers from the coordinated campaign used this pumpkin as a decoration at a Women for Kerry party.

I'm an avid supporter of John Kerry. At this time of the year I love carving pumpkins and decided to show my support for the next President of the United States by carving his portrait on my pumpkin. I'll proudly display my pumpkin on Halloween and Election Day this year.
